1000 piedi? (...cioè circa 300 metri )



A 1000 piedi e lungo 100 .... cioè circa 30 metri .... ba....
Comunque, anche a me sembra un qualcosa di incandescente...
Poi, mancano delle informazioni fondamentali: tipo si muoveva lentamente ma come?

A me sembra un fenomeno naturale; bolide errante, piccolo meteorite??

Se ha detto che : " L’oggetto misterioso si muoveva LENTAMENTE nel cielo per PIU'di un’ora prima dell’inizio delle riprese in lontananza." Non può assolutamente essere niente che precipita sulla terra, non credete?

No ragazzi non ci siamo.Questo non e' il forum del cicap.
Trovate una spiegazione sensata , ma che le pietre stiano nell'atmosfera per un'ora non posso tollerarlo.
E' di fatto un oggetto di natura non nota alla scienza, letteralmente un OVNI.
A me sembra la stessa cosa che ho visto lo scorso lunedi'e si muoveva lentamente non in linea retta per parecchi minutini ,ma io di scie non ne scorgevo , forse e' un effetto della foto.Peccato non avere l'originale e le caratteristiche di esposizione.

A MASSIVE 100ft long fiery flying saucer has been snapped in the night sky by an ASTRONOMER.
Space boffin Lee Betts, 29, couldn't believe his eyes when he spotted the UFO glowing red and hovering 1,000ft up above Devon.

The eerie object moved across the sky for more than an HOUR before shooting off into the distance.

Lee, of Newton St Cyres, near Exeter, revealed he watched the strange craft through a telescope before taking this pic at around 9pm on Monday.

He said: "I couldn't believe it at first. The shape was about 100ft long and there were four lights coming from it initially.

"The shape moved slowly and it seemed to pivot on a central axis. Then, without warning, a sudden flash of light like a shooting star went across the sky.

"It was very strange. I have been an amateur astronomer for the past three years and I've never seen anything like it before. It's unexplained."

UFO expert Nick Pope said: "It's very rare for astronomers to report UFO sightings. They're familiar with the night sky, so when they say they've seen something mysterious, you can take it to the bank.

"This is a fascinating image. If the object is as big as suggested it may have been tracked on radar."

Mr Pope called for the Ministry of Defence to investigate.

But a spokesman today said: "The MoD examines reports solely to establish whether UK airspace may have been compromised by hostile or unauthorised military activity.

"Unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each sighting reported."

...acc non avevo letto attentamente l'articolo rettifico clamorosamente; è a tutti gli effetti un OVNI!

Con tanto di .... cupola e disco...

Comunque, a parte l'osservazione che Mr. Boffin Lee Betts sembra aver effettuato al telescopio, mi piacerebbe capire come è stata scattata la foto... ma non si hanno informazioni a riguardo... si parla di "riprese" ma nulla di più.

...e forse, dico forse, se le stime sono esatte, nonostante le discrete dimensioni, l'oggetto se poteva essere rilevato da un eventuale radar, era troppo basso...

E' chiaro che pur sembrando una meteora o qualcosa del genere, non poteva esserlo visto che è rimasto in aria per svariato tempo... però non dimentichiamo che fenomeni "atmosferici" strani (definiamoli così, visto che non se ne conosce l'esatta natura) si sono già verificati: ad esempio, mi viene in mente la nube rosa su Londra, anche quella visibile per un'oretta...
