qualcuno ne sa d+? a me è venuto subito da dire "è fatta!"
però rimango sempre dubbioso..certo è che ne sarei felice, non tanto per me, ma per tutti quelli molto + grandi di me come qua sul forum, che hanno dedicato la loro vita a questo e ne ha prese da tutti...

However, if there is a 'Craig Kasnov' who is a 'SETI astrophysicist', then you will all have to take that up with him.

My current work focuses on the issue of Endangered Species (http://www.Bagheera.com / http://TigersinCrisis.com).

The issue of endangered species was one of the driving considerations in my contribution to the concept of SETI@HOME.

To me, SETI@HOME was not only a way to confirm there was possibly 'life' on other planets, but it was also a way to confirm there wern't any South China Tigers, Giant Pandas, or Komodo Dragons, anywhere else but on Earth.

Because it was -and still is- my belief that when an animal is forced into extinction, that animal is not just lost to Earth, but is lost to the entire Universe.

And that is tragic.

Anyway, this post may, or may not have, made any contribution to the discussions of 'objects flying towards Earth'. But I hope it clears up any question regarding my involvement this announcement.

I have no involvement in it.

Nel sito ufficiale del SETI riportano la stessa cosa:

No one named Craig Kasnov has ever worked at the SETI Institute. There is a media and conservation professional by name of Craig Kasnoff, who – with David Gedye – came up with the idea of the SETI@home screen saver many years ago. But he has explicitly noted that he has nothing to do with this story, and in fact the article itself points out that it is referencing “Kasnov” not “Kasnoff.” So the story rests on the testimony of a fictional character.

Se la notizia l'ha messo in giro l'HAARP è per coprire e far distogliere lo "sguardo" su quello che fanno di non legale.
